Bookkeeping
I offer a bespoke bookkeeping service, allowing you to choose the level of involvement that suits your needs.
Examples of bookkeeping services include:
- Scan invoices and upload the data to your accounting software.
- Match payments and receipts to these invoices and provide you with a list of outstanding invoices to be either paid to suppliers or to follow-up with customers.
- Reconcile the bank account ensuring all financial data is captured accurately.
We will discuss the frequency to which you would need the agreed bookkeeping tasks completing.
My preferred accounting software to use is currently Xero, but we can discuss alternatives.
VAT Returns
If your business is VAT registered, I will incorporate the VAT element when providing my bookkeeping services. I will then prepare and submit your VAT Return once you have authorised me to do so.
I have experience preparing VAT Returns from my previous role working at an accountancy practice. As part of my ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) membership I complete CPD (Continual Professional Development) to stay up to date with the latest regulations.
For further reassurance, as part of my ICB Practice Licence I have access to a technical line. If there is anything I am unsure of I will check with them. So, you can rest assured that your VAT Returns will be prepared to the highest of standards and receive meticulous attention.
Accounts
Although SR Bookkeeping does not produce Accounts for limited companies to submit to Companies House, I can provide your accountant with a lot of the information they will need for completion of your company’s annual accounts. This includes; supporting documents, working papers and a Trial Balance for them to import into their software. The accountant can then focus on tax planning and advisory services.
SR Bookkeeping can also produce Management Accounts. These reports offer valuable insights into your company’s financial health, helping you make informed decisions.
